OKLAHOMA CITY – Putnam City North took advantage of Tyler Neal’s absence and earned a 71-62 victory over rival Putnam City West Tuesday.
Neal did not play, leaving Amric Fields to carry P.C. West’s offense. Fields did all he could, particularly at the beginning of the game. He scored all 10 of his team’s first-quarter points and finished with a game-high 29, but it was not enough to overcome P.C. North.
The Panthers led from start to finish. They held a six-point lead after the first quarter, then carried that lead for the rest of the night.
Devin Harris led P.C. North with 24 points, and P.C. North handed the Patriots their second loss in a row.
