Millwood Falcons Prey on Sloppy Defense for Win

OKLAHOMA CITY -- A poor defensive finish cost the Star Spencer Bobcats a win against the Millwood Falcons, 50-49.

The Bobcats were up at the end of the first quarter after a 15-0 run, and held the lead throughout the game and late into the fourth quarter.

With just seven seconds left on the clock, Millwood pulled ahead by one point, but a foul sent Star Spencer’s Sharone Campbell to the line. The Bobcats once again took the lead 49-48.

Star Spencer shouldn’t have considered the game to be over.

With seconds left, Millwood’s Lauren Fonceno made the game-winning layup to give the Falcons the win.
