Millwood Falcons Roll Past Newkirk in First Round

MILLWOOD, Oklahoma – The Millwood Falcons continued their recent dominance Friday with a 28-7 victory over Newkirk.

The Falcons got on the board first with a 5-yard touchdown run by Emilio Gatewood, who was the star of the night for the Millwood offense.

The Millwood defense also played well, and did not allow the Newkirk offense to score. Newkirk’s only points came on an interception returned for a touchdown in the first quarter.

The Falcons will now move on to the second round, where they will face Washington, which barely squeaked out a 38-37 win over Plainview Friday.
