TULSA, Oklahoma -- Fifth and sixth graders from Christ United Methodist Church spent the day Monday sprucing up the wheelchairs for people at the Heatheridge Assisted Living Center.
It's a project they do nearly every summer and it makes a big difference.
"A lot of us, a lot of them don't have families that come very often, so it's wonderful to have visitors. It's a blessing to us," said Jeanette Austin, Heatheridge resident.
They weren't just washing wheelchairs; the students also added a few things this year, including nail painting and bingo calling.
