TULSA – The Shock's winning streak has been halted at one game.
Tulsa played the Seattle Storm extremely close on Tuesday night at home, but fell 82-77 to start the season 1-6.
The Shock were within three points with less than a minute remaining thanks to a pair of free throws from Tiffany Jackson to make it 78-75.
But Seattle responded with a quick layup from Tanisha Wright and Tulsa was not able to close the gap in the end.
Tiffany Jackson had a double-double to lead the Shock, scoring 20 points and grabbing 10 boards.
Liz Cambage came off the bench to score 13 points and pull down six boards, and Kayla Pedersen had 15 points.
The Shock will stay at home for the next game as they host the New York Liberty at 11:30 a.m. on June 23.
