TULSA, Oklahoma -- Neal Sweeney would've turned 66 years old Monday, had he not been murdered while sitting at his desk in 2008.
Sweeney's family and friends have been posting messages about his inspiration and love of family and community on Facebook.
His family believes he would've been retired now, gardening, volunteering and spending time with his granddaughters. But, instead, his family is awaiting the trials this fall of the four men charged in his murder.
Prosecutors say it was a murder for hire plan that stemmed from a lawsuit over an unpaid gas bill owed to Sweeney's company.
