Tulsa Apartment Residents Hear Gunshots, Find Shooting Victim

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa police responded to a shots fire call at the Fairmont Terrace Apartments early Sunday morning. Corporal Mark Secrest said just before 4 a.m., residents at the apartment complex heard four to five gunshots.

Several residents came out of their units to find a man in his early 20s with three gunshot wounds to the torso. The shooting victim was lying in a stairwell, police said.

No one saw the shooting take place.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for surgery. His condition is not known at this time.
