UNDATED -- An Oklahoma family is taking their fight for justice for their soldier to the big screen.
First Lieutenant Michael Behenna is serving a 15 year sentence for murdering an unarmed Iraqi detainee. The Edmond native claims it was self-defense, saying the detainee lunged for his gun.
An hour-long documentary about Behenna, his platoon, family and the forensic experts who have worked on his case will premier this Saturday, June 11, 2011, at a film festival in Oklahoma City.
