OKLAHOMA CITY -- A crude oil pipeline that runs through Oklahoma has been shut down because of safety concerns.

The Oklahoma Impact Team first reported how Oklahomans were fighting the pipeline last month.

TransCanada wants to expand its Keystone pipeline across Oklahoma, to reach refineries along the Gulf Coast. But that pipeline leaked 400 barrels of oil in South Dakota last month and 10 more in Kansas.

That pipeline is out of commission until the U.S. Department of Transportation approves repairs and safety tests.
