Tulsa Woman Arrested In Arizona For Stealing Elderly Woman's Purse

YUMA, Arizona -- A 25-year-old Tulsa woman is in the Yuma County jail in Arizona after her arrest Tuesday, May 31, 2011 for allegedly stealing the purse of an elderly woman in Yuma on Monday. 

Ashley Steed is also wanted out of Tulsa for failing to appear for sentencing hearing after she plead guilty in March for second degree robbery, larceny and 2 counts of attempted unauthorized use of a credit card.

Yuma Police say the car Steed was in at the time of her arrest was stolen in another robbery in Texas. 

The man Steed was with, 25-year-old Joshua McGrath, is also from Tulsa.
