Some thoughts as JB Long and I drive to Stillwater for the Cowboys’ weekly news conference (he is driving, I am blogging)OSU-Tech in Stillwater has been nothing if not entertaining. In 2005, Gundy’s underdogs shut down the Red Raiders in a 24-17 surprise. Two years ago, the 47-45 Cowboy win with Zac Robinson fully in charge of the OSU offense. Even back in 2003, the Jon Holland interception at the end of another high-scoring, wild affair.Now, for the first time Tech comes in without an established play-making quarterback. There is talent back there, and yards will most likely be piled up, but there’s also an improved Cowboy defense ready to try and slow down Mike Leach’s scheme.The Cowboys should be able to run the ball, and if so they’ll control the clock. Questions for today- How is Kendall Hunter’s pain tolerance? How did Andrew Mitchell grade out in place of the injured Brady Bond at right tackle? What is Bill Young’s defensive key against Tech? Will he spell it out for a bunch of media members?What’s for lunch? (I’m guessing McAlister’s)
