OKLAHOMA CITY—The Oklahoma City Thunder return to Bricktown for Game 5 of the Western Conference semi-finals Wednesday and Thunderstorms are literally in the forecast.
The weather forecast predicts rain and storms throughout the area Wednesday afternoon and evening but that won’t put a damper on the Thunder’s game festivities.
As of early afternoon Wednesday, Thunder Alley will still take place as planned opening at 5:30 p.m. with food, games, fun and music for the whole family.
One thing is for certain, the Thunder Rewards Zone will take place rain or shine.
Fans still looking for tickets can register for their chance at a pair starting at 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. and the winners will be drawn at 7 p.m.
As far as the rest of Thunder Alley, representatives say they have a number of other plans ready in the event of bad weather.
Traffic Note: Robinson Avenue will be closed to traffic south of the COX Convention Center parking garage. Fans can still enter the garage from Robinson from the north and exit toward Sheridan Ave., but the street will be closed off south of the parking ramp.
Doors open at 7 p.m. and fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 8 p.m.
