DALLAS -- According to ESPNDallas.com, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant has settled one of his two jewelry-related lawsuits Friday.
The suit, filed last month, claims that Bryant has yet to pay a bill $246,000 for what is reported to be $267,000 worth of jewelry purchased between January and May of 2010. The details of the settlement were not made public.
The former Oklahoma State All-American made an immediate impact for Dallas, catching 45 passes for 561 yards and seven touchdowns, finishing the season sixth among rookies. However, his contributions were not enough to lead his team to the playoffs as the Cowboys finished 6-10 overall.
Bryant is dealing with an additional lawsuit dealing with jewelry and tickets to sporting events that were allegedly purchased during his time at Oklahoma State.
