TULSA, Oklahoma -- Despite the uncertainty of the current NFL Labor situation, there will certainly be an NFL Draft and among the hopefuls is former Tulsa do-everything man Charles Clay.
Projected as a fullback or a tight end in the NFL, Clay got the job done more with his hands rather than on the ground while with the Golden Hurricane. In his four seasons, he amassed 189 receptions, 2,544 yards and 28 touchdowns receiving while rushing 179 times for 978 yards and 10 touchdowns.
At the NFL Combine, Clay worked with the tight end group and was a top performer in three different workouts. According to several draft projections, if drafted as a fullback, he should be the first selected and should be drafted in the fourth round.
