Backup quarterback Kalen Henderson, who took a redshirt last season, was very sharp on his deep passes. He dropped in a few long balls to Freeman Kelleyin the scrimmage.

New offensive coordinator Greg Peterson said he was impressed with running back Trey Watts, receiverDamaris Johnsonand Kinne.

Tulsa’s first game of the season is September 3rd on the road against the Oklahoma Sooners.
