Tulsa Extends Win Streak Five

The Golden Hurricane rolled past Northern Iowa and Indiana to improve to 19-7 this season, including a five-game win streak.

TULSA, Oklahoma -- The Tulsa Golden Hurricane beat both Northern Iowa and Indiana to improve to 19-7 on the season and extend its win streak to five games.

TU’s Cassidy Bowen hit a two-run homer to help her team to a 5-1 win over the Northern Iowa Panthers. The Golden Hurricane continued its win streak in its matchup against Indiana. Tulsa took an early three-run lead in the third inning, but the Hoosiers answered back, putting up two runs in the top of the fourth.

Tulsa held off Indiana for the narrow 3-2 win. The team will begin a three-game series against University of Central Florida Saturday at 1 p.m.
