Tulsa Shuts Out North Dakota for 6-0 Win
The Golden Hurricane notched its third-straight win in the Holiday Inn Tulsa-City Center Festival.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Tulsa Golden Hurricane held North Dakota scoreless, shutting out the Fighting Sioux 6-0 to improve to 13-6 on the season.
Jordan Kinard pitched 4.2 innings for the win, allowing four hits while striking out seven UND batters. Teammate Lacey Middlebrooks recorded the save after pitching 2.1 innings, striking out three hitters.
The Golden Hurricane drove in two runs in the bottom of the second, taking an early 2-0 lead. They built on that in the next inning when Skylar Swanson hit home base runner Samantha Cobb to take a 3-0 lead. TU posted an additional three runs in the fifth for the 6-0 win.
UND’s Emma Gronseth finished with the loss after throwing 4.1 innings, allowing for four hits, three earned runs and three strikeouts.
The Tulsa Golden Hurricane will next face Ohio State in the final game of the Holiday Inn Tulsa-City Center Festival.
