SHREVEPORT, Louisiana -- The Oral Roberts Golden Eagles beat the Centenary Gentlemen for the final time in conference play, as the Shreveport-based university makes the move to Division II.

ORU handed the Gentlemen an 81-61 beating, holding Centenary to only 16 points in the paint and building a 22-point lead in the second half. Dominique Morrison led all scorers with 25 points, while Damen Bell-Holter was just one rebound shy of a double-double. He finished with 18 points, nine rebounds and two blocks.

The Golden Eagles’ defense was too much for the Gentlemen, out-rebounding Centenary 41-23. While their D may have been effective, ORU did struggle from the three-point line, shooting only 11 percent from behind the arc.

Oral Roberts has only three games left in their regular season, all of which will be played on their home court. The Golden Eagles next host Pacific on Feb. 19 at 7:05 p.m.
