Tulsa Releases 2011 Football Schedule

The Golden Hurricane will take on four Top 25 teams and trade out C-USA East opponents next season.

TULSA, Oklahoma -- The Tulsa Golden Hurricane football team announced its official 2011 schedule Thursday, featuring four teams that finished in the final AP Top 25 of the 2010 season.

The Golden Hurricane, who finished 24th in the final AP Poll of the season, will open the season on the road against in-state rival Oklahoma. Two weeks later, Tulsa will match up with its other in-state rival, the Oklahoma State Cowboys and finish off the murder’s row of non-conference opponents on the blue turf against Boise State the next Saturday.

Tulsa will also rotate Conference-USA East opponents in 2011, squaring off against UAB and Marshall after a two-year hiatus in competition against the schools.
