STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- Fans, players, families and coaches were part of a memorable game Wednesday, as the Oklahoma State Cowboys hosted the Longhorns just one day before the 10th anniversary of the deadly plane crash in 2001.

Oklahoma Sports has extended Remember the 10 coverage.

Honoring the 10 lives the OSU basketball family lost began prior to the Cowboys’ tipoff, as Texas and OSU both donned “Remember the 10” t-shirts during warm-ups, pre-game and while on the bench throughout the game.

Students also showed their respect by holding up signs, while the family members of those 10 were seated together.

Oklahoma State, which typically does not retire jersey numbers, honored the 10 by retiring jersey No. 10.
