IRVING, Texas-- Oklahoma—Oklahoma guard Danielle Robinson is this week’s Big 12 women’s player of the week.
During the Sooners two games last week, the San Jose, Calif. native was the leading scorer on both occasions tallying a combined 50 points, eight rebounds and 10 steals against conference opponents Kansas State and Texas.
In Wednesday’s game against KSU, Robinson scored 20 points and managed five steals in OU’s 52-45 win over the Wildcats.
Then on Sunday, thepreseason All-American tallied a season high 30 pointsand five steals to help the No. 14 Sooners beat the Longhorns 71-67 in overtime.
The honor is Robinson’s second time this season to receive theconferencehonors and the sixth of her career.
Oklahoma (13-3, 3-0) will take the court again Wednesday at 7 p.m. hosting Texas Tech (16-1, 3-0) at the Lloyd Noble Center.
