BROOKINGS, South Dakota -- The Golden Eagles remained unbeaten in conference play Saturday with a 77-62 win over the South Dakota State Jackrabbits.
Oral Roberts seemed to win the game in the first half.
Trailing 21-20 with nearly nine minutes to go, ORU scored 16 unanswered points over the next six minutes to take a double-digit lead it wouldn’t give up.
Kevi Luper led all scorers with 28 points. Jordan Pyle contributed 11 points and grabbed nine boards, with Savanna Buck adding 10 coming off the bench.
For South Dakota State, Jennie Sunnarborg was the top scorer with 21 points and six rebound. Macie Michelson was the only other Jackrabbits’ player to score in double-digits with 10 points.
The Golden Eagles will try to make it 6-0 in conference play at 7 p.m. Monday against North Dakota State.
