FARGO, North Dakota -- Eight consecutive free throws – six coming on a Scott Sutton double-technical ejection – gave the North Dakota State Bison an 80-74 win over the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles Thursday.

The loss pushed the Golden Eagles’ losing streak to four games.

The call in question came on a Mike Felt attempt that sent him to the line with the game tied 72-72. Sutton had to be kept from going onto the floor and was still visibly angry as he was escorted on the floor.

Felt connected on all six attempts to take an eight point lead.

The eight consecutive points made him the game’s leading scorer with 22 points, while Michael Tveidt added 18.

Damien Bell-Holter scored 17 and grabbed five boards. Ken Holdman contributed 15 in addition to Warren Niles’ 12 points.

The Golden Eagles will head to South Dakota to try to grab their first conference win at 7:30 p.m. Saturday to take on the South Dakota State Jackrabbits.
