STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma State Cowboys’ Keiton Page hit clutch shots in the 79-68 win over the Stanford Cardinal Tuesday night.
Stanford (6-4) trailed the Pokes by as many as 14 points in the second half, but managed to narrow the margin to six with just two minutes left in the game. Page hit a 3-pointer to open the gap back up, and his teammates hit their shots at the charity line to seal the win.
The junior guard hit a crucial three to give the Cowboys the lead at halftime and opening up the second half hitting a pair behind the arc. He ended to night with 23 points. Teammates Ray Penn scored 14, while Marshall Moses contributed 13 points.
The Cardinal’s Josh Owens scored 21 points, matching his career-best, while Jeremy Green added 18 and bench player Aaron Bright scored a career-high 12.
The Cowboys will next travel to Spokane, Wash. to face Gonzaga.
