TULSA, Oklahoma – The Tulsa Oilers got off to a slow start this year. But, over the last few weeks, the team has really turned things around.
The new and improved Oilers ripped off 6 straight wins earlier this month. Then, after a one-goal loss to Wichita, the Oilers bounced back nicely, winning their next 3 games.
On Tuesday night, Tulsa was back at home as they played Texas. The Brahmas scored in the middle of the first period to take the lead. And they wouldn’t look back from there. Texas added another goal in the 2nd and 2 more in the 3rd. Meanwhile, Tulsa couldn’t get anything going offensively. And the Oilers 3-game winning streak comes to an end as they fall to Texas 4-0.
This loss was just the Oilers 2nd defeat in the last month. Tulsa will try to start another winning streak on Christmas day when they host Wichita.
