OSU's Dan Bailey Wins Lou Groza Award

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Florida – Oklahoma State’s Dan Bailey was named the nation’s best kicker Thursday with the Lou Groza Award.
Bailey joined the Cowboys as a walk-on and has become the program’s leading scorer. He has made 24 of 28 field goals and has converted 65 free throws this season, ranking third nationally in field goals made and No. 2 in the nation in points per game.
Bailey holds the school records for career scoring with 358 points, consecutive extra point conversions with 182, and made field goals in a season with 24. He was is first OSU kicker to ever win the Groza Award.
