Landry Jones Named Sammy Baugh Award Winner

NORMAN, Oklahoma -- The Touchdown Club of Columbus announced Tuesday that Oklahoma quarterback Landry Jones was named the Sammy Baugh Award winner for 2010 as college football’s top passer.

The sophomore signal caller amassed 4,239 yards and 35 touchdowns on his way to leading the Sooners to their seventh conference championship. Jones completed 65.3 percent of his attempts and threw just 11 interceptions in his second season at Oklahoma.

The award will be presented during the Touchdown Club of Columbus’ 56th Annual Sports Banquet Sunday, Feb.5, 2011.
