ANAHEIM, California -- The Tulsa Golden Hurricane etched its fourth win in its last five games Sunday, with an 80-63 win over Cal State Northridge to finish fifth at the 76 Classic.

TU played the final 9 minutes without center Steven Idlet, after the junior was forced to the sidelines following a knee injury. Idlet, who averages 24.6 points and 5.8 rebounds, didn’t leave the bench for treatment, indicating the injury may not be severe.

Teammates Justin Hurtt and Jordan Clarkson both posted double-digit figures, Hurtt finishing with 20 points, while Clarkson ended the game with 19. The Golden Hurricane improve to 4-2 on the season after its impressive offensive performance.

Forward Joe Richard shot 10 points and recorded six boards for TU, who shot 50 percent in the 17-point victory. The Golden Hurricane will next travel to Arkansas-Little Rock on December 5.
