Thunder Negotiating Arena Naming Rights

The Ford Center will soon undergo a name change once a contract is reached.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma City Thunder have terminated naming rights with the Oklahoma Ford Dealers and will begin negotiating naming rights with other businesses.

The original contract for arena naming rights could be terminated once an NBA team came to Oklahoma City.

The team entered negotiations with the Oklahoma Ford Dealers to retain naming rights, but could not come to an agreement.

The Thunder is now entering into negotiations with "other potential partners" and have refused further public comment.
