Jamie Blatnick Back at Cowboys Practice

The Cowboys’ Jamie Blatnick returned to practice Friday after facing assault charges from an August 2 incident.

STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- Oklahoma State University junior defensive end Jamie Blatnick practiced with teammates Friday for the first time since preseason camp opened in early August.

Blatnick had been limited to working on a stairmaster during practices after being charged with aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon August 2.

Stillwater police allege Blatnick hit former OSU teammate Steve Denning in the face with a beer bottle August 1st.

Blatnick will not participate in the Cowboys' scrimmage Saturday. His status for the Cowboys' opener with Washington State is not known.
