NORMAN, Oklahoma – It’s never an easy job to follow in the footsteps of a Heisman winner and No. 1 overall draft pick, but someone has to do it.
For the 2010-11 season, all eyes will be on Landry Jones to lead the Sooners, who were recently ranked 8th in the preseason Coaches’ Poll.
Jones threw for 3,198 yards and 26 touchdowns last season after taking over for the injured Sam Bradford.
But this season Jones will have the reins from the beginning. At OU Media Day, he talked about the expectations placed upon him and his team for the upcoming season.
