DALLAS -- The Dallas Cowboys and former Oklahoma State wide receiver Dez Bryant agreed to a deal Thursday, ending speculation that the first-round pick would have a long holdout.
The deal secures Bryant’s services for the next five years and could pay him up to $11.8 million, $8.5 million is guaranteed.
In his final year at Oklahoma State, Bryant’s season was shortened after an NCAA violation. In the three games he played in, Bryant amassed 323 yards and four touchdowns.
The agreement makes Bryant the first first-round pick to come to terms on their contract.
