Thunder Tops 76ers in Summer League
Oklahoma City jumped out to an early lead over Philadelphia to grab a bounce-back win.

ORLANDO, Florida -- After losing on a buzzer-beater Tuesday, the Oklahoma City Thunder handled the Philadelphia 76ers 89-80 Wednesday.
The Thunder dominated the opening quarter, finishing the first 10 minutes of the game leading 21-14. Former Tulsa 66erLatavious Williams came off the bench to score seven points and grab three rebounds in the quarter.
Oklahoma City continued its strong play in the second quarter, once again outscoring Philadelphia by seven to take a 49-35 lead at halftime.
Philadelphia made a move to close the gap in the third quarter, outscoring the Thunder by 12 in the opening minutes of the half. The 76ers finished the quarter outscoring Oklahoma City 26-16 to close the gap to 65-61 to start the fourth quarter.
In the fourth quarter, the Thunder outscored Philadelphia by five points to finish the quarter with a nine-point lead to advance to 2-1 on the summer.
James Harden led all Oklahoma City scorers with 21 points, while Bryon Mullens continued his strong Summer League performance with 16 points and six rebounds. Williams finished the game with 11 points and six rebounds.
Philadelphia’s Jrue Holiday led all scorers with 25 points and dished out five assists. Marreese Speights added 20 and nine rebounds while former Oklahoma State CowboyObi Muonelo only managed three points and two rebounds in his nearly 12 minutes coming off the bench.
