MIDLAND, Texas -- J.C. Holt hit a walk-off double in the bottom of the ninth to give Midland a 3-2 victory over Tulsa Friday.
Holt stepped to the plate with his team down 2-1 in the bottom of the ninth. He took advantage of a bases loaded two out situation, with a game-winning double to left.
Keil Roling was responsible for both Drillers runs. He drove in Daniel Mayora in the top of the fourth to give Tulsa a 1-0 lead. Roling would score on a groundout in the seventh inning, to put Tulsa on top 2-1.
Alex Valdez crossed the plate in the sixth inning for the RockHounds to tie the game 1-1.
Al Albuquerque (1-3) was tagged with the loss for Drillers after giving up two earned runs in 2/3 innings of work.
Beau Vaughn (1-2) pitched two scoreless and hitless innings to gain the win for Midland.
Tulsa will start a three-game series with Frisco at 7:00 p.m. Saturday.
