OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma Yard Dawgz fell 68-63 to the Spokane Shock Sunday. The Yard Dawgz have lost three of their last four.
David Hyland intercepted Kyle Rowley to set the Yard Dawgz up for the game-winning drive. However, Tommy Grady’s last second pass did not find its mark sealing Oklahoma City’s fate.
Grady threw for seven touchdowns and 303 yards on 21-of-31 passing and an interception. Al Hunt had three receiving touchdowns on five catches and 110 yards.
Oklahoma City led 14-7 after the first quarter. But Spokane responded by putting up 24 points in the second quarter to take a 31-28 lead into halftime.
Rowley had seven touchdown passes and 344 yards on 28-of-54 passing and an interception. Huey Whittaker hauled in three touchdown passes to go along with 152 yards and 13 receptions.
The Yard Dawgz travel up the turnpike to face the Tulsa Talons at 7:00 p.m. Saturday.
