TULSA, Oklahoma -- After two days of open tryouts, the Tulsa Shock announced it has invited five players to training camp.

Oklahoma State graduate Danielle Green leads the group of five, which also includes Juanita Ward (University of Syracuse), Brittany Gilliam (Southern Methodist), Moniquee Alexander (California - Los Angeles) and Kim Sitzmann (Arkansas – Little Rock).

"I have to get my body rested after tryouts and come back and do something for training camp," Green said in a press release. "The last games, I didn’t do so well but at the same time I knew I was in shape but there were so many great girls. I was just happy to hear my number."

Over 50 players participated in back-to-back two-a-day workouts, but five impressed Shock coach Nolan Richardson enough to earn camp invites.

“We are very excited about the people that we decided to bring back to camp,” Richardson said.

The remaining Shock players are expected to arrive for competition on Sunday.
