SANTA MONICA, California -- The Oklahoma City Thunder hit the gym for another shoot-around Tuesday, just hours before they face the L.A. Lakers in Game Two, putting the final touches on an offense stifled in the last game.
Head coach Scott Brooks stressed to his team the need for more rebounding and aggressiveness inside the paint. The Thunder has to find an answer for Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum.
James Harden said the team’s defense was strong in the last game, but the offensive game has to produce more. Harden was scoreless in Sunday’s game.
“I think on in the defensive game we did a great job,” Harden said. “We want to play our same game, if not better.
“Guys just have to step up and make plays on the offensive end.”
The Thunder worked out any jitters early in the first game, and feels confident heading into Tuesday night’s game, which begins at 9:30 p.m.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Thunder and tonight’s game.
