What you need to know?
Oklahoma City dropped a heart-breaker to Portland after dominant performances against the Lakers and the Rockets. Oklahoma City is still jockeying for playoff positioning and the next ten games are key. The Thunder faces seven teams with records about .500 and six playoff teams, while trying to improve its playoff draw.
The 76ers are 3-7 over their last 10 games, 12-24 at home and 12-16 against the Western Conference this season. They’re 9 1/2 games out of the playoff hunt in the Eastern Conference and are all-but-done for the season. The 76ers had trouble shutting down the Thunder’s offense in the last matchup which Oklahoma City won 117-106 at the Ford Center.
Who to watch?
Star forward Kevin Durant has been consistent over the Thunder’s last three games, scoring 25, 26 and 29. Serge Ibaka has seen his minutes skyrocket over the past five games. The first-year forward/center has played more than 20 minutes in the past five games.
Philadelphia’s Andre Iguodala’s offensive production may be down from previous seasons, but the shooting guard is still averaging 17.7 points, 6.6 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game. Center Samuel Dalembert could be key for Philadelphia against Oklahoma City. The big center could have a huge game against a smaller Thunder interior.
