STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- Oklahoma State University head basketball coach Travis Ford commented Tuesday about the arrest of junior forward Marshall Moses.

Moses was pulled over in a routine traffic stop Sunday after making an illegal right turn. Police found marijuana and drug paraphernalia in Moses, who was also driving with a suspended license.

Moses was charged Tuesday with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license. He’s scheduled to appear in court Feb. 8.

Ford suspended Moses for one game for violating team rules.

“That’s about one-tenth of the punishment he has coming from us, but that’s part of it,” said Ford in an interview with Learfield Sports. “Marshall made a mistake, it’s something he’s very remorseful for. He’s apologized to everybody. He’s being punished in more ways than the suspension, I can tell you that. He probably wishes he could be suspended for more games instead of some of the things he has to go through.”

Oklahoma State will host Coppin State Tuesday night at 7 p.m. in Stillwater without Moses.
