Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant sits in fifth place among Western Conference forwards in the preliminary All-Star voting released Thursday. Denver’s Carmelo Anthony, Dallas’ Dirk Nowitzki, the Lakers’ Pau Gasol and San Antonio’s Tim Duncan are ahead of Durant.
Jeff Green and Russell Westbrook did not receive enough votes to place in the top 11.
Kobe Bryant leads all players with 692,518.
