STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- After intercepting two passes, breaking up another three and a tackle for loss in the Oklahoma State’s 24-17 win over Texas Tech, cornerback Perrish Cox was named Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week.
This is the second time this season that Cox has garnered conference player of the week honors, he was named Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week after the Cowboys week one win over Georgia.
The Thorpe Award semifinalist leads the nation in passes broken up with 2.11 per game.
OSU is back in action Thursday night at home against Colorado in a nationally televised matchup.
