Several former Sooners recorded stats during Week 2 of the NFL season. Here is a recap of their performances:
Adrian Peterson ran for 92 yards and a touchdown and caught four passes for 24 yards in the Vikings’ 27-13 win at Detroit. With his effort, Peterson has 272 yards and four touchdowns on the ground in 2009. The former Sooner runningback also has 42 yards receiving.
Curtis Lofton had eight tackles in Atlanta’s 28-20 win over Carolina. Lofton has 19 tackles through two games this year.
Roy Williams recorded six tackles in the Bengals’ 31-24 victory at Green Bay. Williams also deflected two passes in the contest.
Remi Ayodele made his first tackle of the season in the Saints’ 48-22 victory over Philadelphia. The former Sooner now has nine career tackles.
Malcolm Kelly had four receptions for 41 yards in the Redskins’ 9-7 win against St. Louis. Kelly has 47 yards receiving through two games in 2009.
Clint Ingram had three tackles in Jacksonville’s 31-17 loss to the Cardinals. Ingram has seven stops for the Jaguars this season.
Jimmy Wilkerson had five tackles (one sack) in Tampa Bay’s 33-20 loss at Buffalo. Wilkerson had three solo stops in the game and now has over 100 solo tackles in his career.
Tommie Harris made one tackle in Chicago’s 17-14 victory over the Steelers. Harris has two tackles in his 2009 campaign.
Mark Clayton caught one pass for 20 yards in the Ravens’ 31-26 win over the Chargers. He also completed a pass to Ray Rice for no yards.
Brodney Pool had six tackles in the Browns’ 27-6 loss to Denver. Pool now has 10 tackles this season and 236 in his career.
Kelly Gregg recorded two tackles in the Ravens’ 31-26 win at San Diego. Gregg has eight tackles this season and 419 in his career.
C.J. Ah You made his first career tackle for St. Louis in the Rams’ 9-7 loss at Washington.
Reggie Smith recorded one tackle in San Francisco’s 23-10 victory over Seattle. Smith’s tackle came on a kickoff in the third quarter.
