TULSA, Oklahoma -- A 29-year-old Tulsa man was arrested after police say he fired shots into the ceiling of a nightclub early Monday morning.

Tulsa Police officers responded to Night Trips in the 3900 block of South Yale just after midnight.

Bartenders told officers Billy Phillips had been refused service due to the level of his intoxication.  They say he then pulled out the handgun and started firing.

Once he was outside, club personnel say Phillips fired more shots into the building.

Nobody was injured.

Officers arrested Phillips and took him to the Tulsa County jail.
