Eufaula Pastor Jailed On Sexual Assault Charges

EUFAULA, Oklahoma --  The pastor of a Eufaula church is charged with one count each of sexual battery, rape by instrumentation and indecent exposure based on accusations from a teenaged member of his church.

Bruce Sanders was arraigned on the charges Wednesday morning.

McIntosh County Sheriff's Office detective Tonya French says an investigation into the case began after the teen, who is now 19, contacted authorities.

French says the alleged assaults took place from 2006 to 2010 when the teen lived in Sanders' home.

According to the North Fork Baptist Church Facebook page, Sanders is the pastor. The church's Facebook page has since been taken down.

Sanders was released from the McIntosh County jail after posting a $100,000 bond.
