Major Conner is riding his bicycle coast to coast raising money for injured Marines.
He started his trip in Oceanside, California on Easter and is hoping to make it to Oceanview, Delaware before Memorial Day, with a goal to raise $35,000.
Major Conner's mom couldn't be more proud.
"When you raise your sons, you always try to tell them to be unselfish and giving to other people. And my husband just was such a giving person, and so both of my sons just radiate this," MaryAnn Conner said.
"If you see me on the road, give me a happy honk and a nice wave - maybe move over a lane or two for me, and wish me luck and keep me in your prayers," Major Conner said.
Conner says this is the least he can do for the military men and women who do so much for our country.
