TULSA, Oklahoma -- City of Tulsa's new city auditor is now on the job following a brief ceremony Tuesday afternoon at the Tulsa County Courthouse.
Clift Richards, a Certified Public Accountant since 1963 and a TU grad, was sworn in by the Judge Thomas Thornbrugh.
Richards will fill the post until the end of 2011. The job is on the November election ballot.

Richards was appointed by Mayor Dewey Bartlett.
He already has a big decision to make - whether or not to release the results of an ethics investigation against Mayor Bartlett. The report was ready last month, but the investigator didn't want to release the findings without Richard's approval.
Richards takes over for Preston Doerflinger, who resigned in January to become state finance director.
