Truck Involved In Tulsa Police Chase Was Stolen, Officers Say

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A police chase Monday led officers to a vehicle that had been stolen Friday night.

Officers say that's when two men stopped an employee at Abuelo's at 71st and Highway 169, asked for directions and then hijacked his truck with him inside.

They let him go later.

Earlier Monday, a Tulsa County Deputy tried to stop a truck near 52nd and Peoria, but the driver took off.  Three men bailed out, but were caught with the help of the Tulsa police helicopter and a K-9 officer.

Officers discovered it was the truck from Friday.
