TULSA, Oklahoma -- The Tulsa Police Department will be holding two ceremonies on Friday and Saturday to honor police officers who have died or been killed in the line of duty.

A candlelight vigil will be held Friday evening at the Police Academy memorial at 6066 East 66th Street North for those retired and active officers who passed away in 2010 under circumstances other than the line of duty.

Then on Saturday morning, a ceremony at the memorial at the TPD academy will be held to honor Officer Walter Clark, Officer Leroy Cowles and Officer James Slay.

Clark died 75-years ago, Cowles died 50-years ago and Slay died 25-years ago.

The Friday ceremony begins at sundown and the Saturday ceremony begins at 10 a.m.
