JENKS, Oklahoma – The body of a missing man was found along the Arkansas River over the weekend, Jenks Police said.

Officers said a fossil hunter discovered the body of 54-year-old Ralph Stevenson Sunday afternoon on the west side of the Arkansas River, just south of the Creek Turnpike bridge.

Stevenson was reported missing on March 10, 2011. He suffered from liver cancer, diabetes and intermittent amnesia, according to a silver alert issued just days after he was reported missing.

Jenks Police said there were no obvious signs of foul play, though an exact cause of death has yet to be determined.
