Tulsa Police Hope To ID Car Key Thief

Tulsa Police want to identify a man who is suspected of taking a set of car keys from a customer at a Tulsa sporting goods store on the evening of April 1, 2011.

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police want to identify a man who is suspected of taking a set of car keys from a customer at a Tulsa sporting goods store on the evening of April 1, 2011.

Police say the victim was trying on shoes at the Academy Sports store at 6120 East 41st Street when he placed his car keys on the bench beside him.

Police say the man pictured in the surveillance photo [at right] took the keys, located the victim's car and drove off.  The car has since been recovered.

The suspect is a white male in his twenties, wearing a red San Francisco football jersey bearing the number 8.

Tulsa Police are also looking for a man who they say broke into a car parked at Gilley Electric on North Lewis in Tulsa and took several items.
